Alfred Zucaro

Alfred Zucaro is Founder and President of the World Trade Center Palm Beach. Since its inception in 1999, the World Trade Center has distinguished itself as a tireless advocate in the promotion of international trade and economic development for Palm Beach County and the six surrounding counties that comprise the World Trade Center Palm Beach geographic region.

His efforts and service to the business community has earned him many honors, including being named one of the 101 most influential people in International Trade and Commerce by South Florida CEO magazine.

In addition to his role at the World Trade Center, Al Zucaro is an attorney in the Palm Beach County, limiting his practice to that of Immigration Law and has now established his own firm to expand the practice to include international strategies.

During his career in Immigration, Zucaro represented many clients in Immigration Court proceedings while active with the Haitian Refugee Center in Miami and has represented clients in deportation and removal proceeding in Florida, Louisiana, and Texas lockups.

Of late, his efforts have been directed at business and investor visas having established the first USCIS approved Regional Center in the state of Florida (2008); to wit: Palm Beach Regional Center

Al Zucaro is well-known to the citizens of Palm Beach County, having served as a member of the City Commission. First elected in 1995, Zucaro served until 2002.

He was one of the original members of the evaluation committee for selection process for Cityplace, now Rosemary Place, appointed by then Mayor Nancy Graham. He was also chairman of a Blue-Ribbon Task Force assigned to review the Downtown Development Authority and its responsibilities under then Mayor Joel Davis.

During his tenure, Zucaro lead the West Palm Beach City Commission in the area of economic development, wealth generation, and tax/debt reduction. Tax and debt service rates were reduced with every budget while wealth and job generation items were successfully brought forward.

Zucaro has served as a member of the Palm Beach County Film and Television Commission, the Tourist Development Board, The Workforce Development Council and has served as an adjunct professor at Palm Beach State College in the area of Immigration Law.

Zucaro graduated with a B.A. in Economics Magna Cum Laude from Fordham University in 1983 and received his Juris Doctorate from Nova University School of Law in 1986. Since 1986, Zucaro has been a member in good standing with the Florida Bar, Palm Beach County Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association
